CINDY’s BOOK

If you feel stuck, trapped, or lost in your life, Jungle: A Journey to Peace, Purpose, and Freedom was written for you!

For twenty years I worked in corporate putting in 60-70 hour weeks. Although I was the model of success and professionalism, completing projects on time and under budget, it was taking a toll on my well-being.

Something had to give, and my health became jeopardized by a mysterious illness.

My book tells the story of how my journey out of the corporate jungle and into the jungles of Costa Rica brought me to a place of authentic personal freedom. My time spent studying at the University of Peace challenged me to open my awareness and allowed me to return home a remade person.

You can create a joyful life too! Let me show you…

A changed mindset – one which allows you to contribute your gifts and talents to the world–is the key to living a life that is meaningful.

And if you can’t see this as a possibility for yourself now, my memoir and the companion workbook will help you see it and believe it. Regardless of your current responsibilities and challenges, freedom is always possible.

Praise!

Make Cindy’s story of courage, conviction, and commitment to making this world a better place for all, your own story.”

“Cindy’s memoir is absolutely phenomenal and a great tool to use in revamping your life…. I, myself, have put my all into [my] work, and I just wound up feeling stuck.  After reflecting on the questions given in the book, I thought to myself…why am I doing this to myself? Why not break the cycle and push past my fear and change?

And, I DID!  This book helped me find the courage to start the job hunt, and I found a better one.

However, I didn’t stop there. This book is not just for one’s work life.  I also applied 7 Principles to my home life, which is where I needed the most work, as I am a mother and a wife.  I started making changes and… my entire outlook on each day improved, which radiated to everyone around me.  Cindy did a wonderful job in this book by telling her story, but yet relating it to each one of us.  She is truly inspiring, and I am so thankful for this book and how her story entered my life when it did.  Wonderful read!”

It takes courage to admit that some things aren’t working as well as they could be. The first step is admitting and then owning where we are overly invested, particularly when we’ve worked hard for something. This creates the situation where it becomes difficult to question that “it” may not be where we need to be.”
